My name is Alison Irene Martin (b.2000) and I am a self taught artist based in Melbourne, Australia.
Mostly working with paints (Acrylic + oil) along with pencil sketches I have passion for portraiture and capturing those special moments in life. I have completed many works which include but aren’t limited to; Pet portraiture, engagements and now delving into the world of Weddings.

my story.
As long as I can remember painting, drawing and all things creative have been my passion. As young as 4 years old, you could only find me at the easel in kinder, generally attempting to paint my loved ones. As I grew older my painting skills progressed and evolved into also drawing/ sketching and art became a huge part of my life.
In 2019 I was asked to paint an image of a much loved golden retriever, this painting instilled confidence within myself and my talent. The success of this lead me to complete multiple pet portraits over the following years. Pet portraiture has now lead to my passion for all portraiture work, I love the emotion you can capture along with the sentimental value the pieces create.
I also am a fully qualified Interior Designer and have worked as a design consultant for the past few years. My interiors career is currently on hold to try and pursue art, my ultimate passion in life although I hopefully see myself working with both in harmony.
